UOU! Sem palavras! Gostei muito!
Capítulos curtos mais uma vez, facilitam muito!
Que história agoniante! Pobres personagens.
This was ridiculously tailored to my tastes. A short, Black Mirror-esque novella about AI going out of control, with a supposedly insane plot twist? I was so excited to read it.And somehow, I was just… bored.I didn’t care about any of the characters, so when people started dying, my reaction was basically: okay. That happened. The deaths themselves were interesting enough, but I had zero emotional investment in anyone. The twist was actually good, I’ll give it that. The problem is that it came far too late. By the time I got there, I had already spent most of the book waiting for something to happen.I’m not even completely sure what made this so hard for me to connect with. The writing felt slow and repetitive, even though the book itself is really short. It kept feeling like it was trying very hard to be unsettling and interesting, but it just never really got there for me.There’s a great Black Mirror episode somewhere inside this story. I just wish I hadn’t been bored for most of it.
To be honest, the beginning of this book was really painful to get through 馃槶 I almost quit reading entirely until I hit about page 50 From that point on, it turned into a fun, fast paced read
