I think I may have gotten a little too overexcited with this, with my re-review of the first volume. I am enjoying this manga. I really am. But something about it is knocking a star off here and there when I review them.I really enjoyed this. I think it continued onwards for volume one's cliffhanger very well. It spaced the story quite well but also it sort of didn't do that. However, there's also quite a bit I'm not too keen on.The story really seems to be rushed and just repeating itself in certain aspects. Already half-way through the manga, I'm a little worried I'm just reading a story that repeats on a loop with just different names and in a different time set. There isn't even much more to it other than different reasonings that have any explanation or meaning to the reader. The artwork on the covers and directly inside the manga issues are relatively a little uneasy to look at for me, due to a fear of the uncanny valley. There are a few mangas that do this and it's very offputting and it makes the skin itch for some people and I wish that mangaka and other drawing-based literature could be more aware of this. It's just a little thing to stop some readers feeling uncomfortable and clammy in the first few pages of the manga. The flashback scenes are broken up and the illusion the manga sets up by breaking it up with [see page 162, volume 1] for small bits of clarification. I understand readers not remembering the exact frame a mangaka wants you too, but when they're faded out in the frame, the details to the exact frame shouldn't be needed for the reader to remember the plot - if the manga is a good one, that is.The plotline for the first volume was over halfway through the manga, and then a new plotline introduction seemed rushed through the last half as if the mangaka remember at the last moment she had to include more to the book.I didn't really like much other than the characters are relatively the same people with some character development; although I feel like their development has also been rushed through the story, unfortunately. A shame, I was really hoping this was going to be better than what I previously thought.
