I enjoyed this book however, I felt like most of the storyline could have been put into less chapters. I found it to drag on rather than build up. All in all great read!

This is my 7th time reading this book. If that doesn't show how much I love it I don't know what will lol!While this isn't my favourite of the whole series I still love it. The reason it doesn't rank as high is mainly because the plot is still building in this and nothing really happens until towards the end of the book. I don't mind the character development in this which is why I still like it. You get small glimpses of Gideon with Ireland and that is such a unique and adorable relationship. Even though I knew it was coming the distance that Gideon forces on Eva is still hard to take given her reaction to it. We know why he did what he did and it made sense to a degree as we don't know if Eva could have lied well enough to be let in on it. Unfortunately Gideon's actions does cause domino effects that will be evident in future books. I was disappointed in Cary for not warning Eva about the concert, and even more disappointed in Eva for kissing Brett back then freaking out when Gideon acts the way any man would given the circumstances.The way everyone freaked out over the couple going away for 2 days without being contactable was a little over the top. I know Cary was attacked but that wasn't something they could have foreseen, yes it was irresponsible but the reactions were a little over the top.I genuinely hate Corrine and don't understand why Gideon feels so guilty over her.This series is top tier for me and would highly recommend it!!

I read this book years ago and I just got a copy on audible... when I read it, I loved it. But coming back and listening, that was painful. The relationship they share pains me to listen to. I'm continuing to listen to the series, but I'll no longer recommend it like I used to.
