Tight Lines

Coyne, a lawyer, is asked by Susan, the widow of the prestigious Ames family, to find her only daughter, Mary Ellen, who she hasn't heard from in over a decade. Following a few clues, he tracks down Mary Ellen's apartment, but she hasn't returned to her room for weeks. Suspicious, Coyne receives bad news: Mary Ellen has been found drowned in a lake in New Hampshire. Was it an accident or murder? As Coyne pursues the truth, a second and third murder soon unfolds... This is the 11th installment of the Brady Coyne series.
