Jack Milner a former police protection officer finds himself searching for the truth as a grim discovery of a body at Holme Fen Woods blows wide open a thirty year old missing person's case that had previously haunted the police.

The police investigative team, headed by resilient DI Colin Knapp, race against the clock in search of the truth. Leaving no stone unturned, they meet with resistance every step of the way. The local Fen community is keen to keep it's dirty secrets hidden.

But Jack Milner is a man with a guilty past. When he is pulled in for police questioning it looks like the noose is finally tightening around his neck. Forced to fight for the truth Milner is involved in a battle with pure evil.
