描述
Your daughter’s born with a bizarre condition that forces you to murder innocent people to keep her alive. Can you do it and remain sane?
Amanda Chaffee will perish without a steady diet of human blood. William Chaffee is haunted by the heinous crimes he commits to provide this nourishment for his daughter. His internal struggles are amplified by recent thoughts of stopping these crimes by killing Amanda.
The pressure on Chaffee builds as the year comes to an end. Amanda’s thirst for blood grows as she matures, intensifying his murderous ways. And a new threat to the family emerges: a beat reporter who has stumbled onto the killing spree and the fear-driven police cover-up of the crimes. Compelled by his own demons and refusing to be denied the most important story of his life, the reporter closes in on the Chaffees. The action climaxes on a snowy winter’s morning with lives in the balance. No one survives unscathed.
