描述
"The earth is waiting at the
world's wayside; Stand upon the
green mantle she has flung upon
thy path; and let me feel in her
grass and meadow flowers the
spread of my own salutation."
(Rabindranath Tagore)
"Crossing" is a book by Indian poet and Nobel Prize winner, Sir Rabindranath Tagore. It was first published by "The Macmillan Company" of New York in 1918. Some written texts are immortal and eternally inspiring, Tagore's poetry is included in that category.
This book is a part of Iris Gat's "poetry & painting dialogue" series. Iris combines her paintings with the writing of talented authors, renewing and giving her a new interpretation of the poems' content. Over both time and distance, a unique conversation between creators is born.
