CROSSTIDE

ADRIAN, a reclusive, badly-scarred author writing a novel that is a thinly-disguised account of his torrid love affair, the suicide of his wife, and the aftermath of the explosion that almost killed him. NICK, a private detective whose sideline is crime scene clean-up, and whose passion is surfing, frequently from the author's private beach. EDEN, the woman caught between them, desperately needing the services of the P.I. and the job the author offers. She is attracted to Nick, but fascinated by Adrian. As she works on his manuscript she begins to suspect that the author may have killed his wife. Did the P.I. help him cover up the crime? What became of the femme fatale who ruined the author's life? Has she returned and does she see Eden as a rival? Somebody is hiding in the shadows and doesn't want Adrian's novel published. Eden's empathy and curiosity, more dangerous than she realizes, will put her in life-threatening peril.
