描述
MacKayla is on an unexpected journey of self-discovery and transformation in a world where the line between reality and the supernatural blurs. As she embraces her identity as a sidhe-seer, she grapples with her newfound ability to see the Fae, powerful and often malevolent beings that walk among humans. This revelation thrusts her into a dangerous game, forcing her to confront the dark forces that threaten her world.
Navigating this perilous landscape, Mac finds herself entangled with enigmatic characters who challenge her understanding of trust and loyalty. Each encounter leaves her questioning her own morals as she learns that not everything is black and white. Her quest to uncover the truth about her sister’s death compels her to delve deeper into the dark underbelly of the Fae realm, where secrets are currency and betrayal is a given.
As MacKayla’s journey unfolds, she transforms from a naive young woman into a fierce warrior, learning to harness her abilities and confront the shadows of both the Fae and her own past. Empowered yet vulnerable, she discovers that strength comes from embracing her identity while navigating the treacherous alliances formed in her wake. In a world filled with intrigue and danger, every choice could be the difference between survival and destruction.

I wish I could’ve gotten into this series. I want to keep going, perhaps it was the form I read it in. Idk. One day hopefully I’ll get the urge to finish the rest of this series.

I loved it, except Mac got on my nerves. The story was compelling. Not a fan of the narration style. I will definetly read the rest though
