JOYCE YOUNG, DIVORCED BUSINESSWOMAN. FITNESS FANATIC. SEX ADDICT. HER SECRET PAST MAY HAVE FINALLY CAUGHT UP WITH HER...
Devoted to the pleasures of the body, Joyce Young had taken very good care of her own. Which made her murder all the more chilling: she had been brutally mutilated in her own bedroom, and the only clues were the bizarre traces of sugar found at the scene of the crime.
Private investigator Mike McCleary and his partner and wife Quin St. James are called in by Joyce's grief-stricken stepbrother. Their hunch is that they're dealing with a serial killer, someone Joyce knew in her less-than-pristine past. As they enter the seamy world of custom-made porn, the bodies begin to fall in a path leading to their own door – a path they must cut short before they, too, drown in the sickly sweet smell of death...
