This was my first buddy read with one of my favourite humans :)I have had the Monsters and Muses series on my shelf for so long it is embarrassing.Not that long ago I realised there was a 0.5 before the first book so we thought we'd buddy read this and see how we feel about doing the same for the while series.Well the verdict is that, yes we will definitely be reading the rest of the series together as this book although only 70 pages really packed a punch.The main standout in this was 100% Kal. That man is pure dark deliciousness. He is clearly obsessed with Elena and I do love a man obsessed.Then with Elena she isn't what I was expecting from a Mafia princess. She has spunk and attitude. She isn't afraid to speak her mind or give back what she is given.... IYKYKI really need to know what Elena's mom did to Kal... Like really need to know. His reaction to her says it is something that was really traumatic.If this is any indication I foresee this being a great series
