As a formidable force on the battlefield, Annwyl’s reputation precedes her, but it also attracts relentless challenges and unwanted attention from men who either fear or desire her. Her journey is fraught with the weight of expectations and the struggle to prove herself in a male-dominated realm.
Annwyl’s adventures blend humor, action, and romance, showcasing her strength and resilience as she navigates her complex identity. Balancing ferocity with vulnerability, she learns that being a warrior is not just about wielding a sword but also understanding her heart and destiny. Even amid the tumult of her fierce life, love and loyalty can arise in the most unexpected places, creating a tapestry of relationships that complicate and enrich her journey.

Dragon Actually by G.A. Aiken has been recommended several times but it seems it took the 10 LOL paranormal romance list to get to read it. I did not find this one to be LOL but it was still a fun read. Annwyl the Bloody has spent the last two years fighting her evil brother and his army, but this skirmish is likely her last. Fearghus the Destroyer, is large black dragon who can't be bothered by human follies, but he decides he cannot let Annwyl die. Interesting world, I like Aiken's dragons, especially Fearghus and his sister Morfyd. 3.5 stars
