Empire & Ecolitan

This is an omnibus of two early novels in L.E. Modesitts Ecolitan Matter series, [Book:The Ecolitan Operation|185221] and [Book:The Ecologic Secession|185235]. The series deals with the conflict between the old and corrupt interstellar Empire, and the Ecolitan Institute of the planet Accord. The Institute ostensibly a training academy in ecology, is in reality a progressive force reminsicent of Isaac Asimovs Foundation. Both novels were initially published as mass market originals and are now out of print. The two books form a complete story arc.
