描述
In the vast expanse of deep space, John Grimes, the pragmatic owner of the pinnace Little Sister, finds himself entangled in unexpected circumstances. His decision to take on passengers leads him into the lives of Matilda's stepchildren, who are far from ordinary. Each of them carries unique stories and secrets, leading to a journey that challenges his perceptions of loyalty and trust.
As their adventures unfold, Grimes must navigate through complexities that arise within the dynamic of his eclectic passengers. With tensions brewing and mysteries lurking among the stars, he realizes that every decision he makes has consequences beyond the confines of the spaceship. The contrasting personalities of Matilda’s stepchildren add layers of intrigue, creating a rich tapestry of interactions and conflicts.
Grimes' journey prompts him to reflect on his own values and what it means to be responsible for those who are, at first glance, strangers. In this journey through the cosmos, he discovers that even in the coldness of space, personal connections can offer warmth and unexpected bonds.
