To celebrate Star Trek ’s 40th anniversary, Tokypop published a quartet of manga digests presenting Japanese-styled tales featuring the crews of James T. Kirk and Jean-Luc Picard. The debut edition, featuring Kirk’s crew, was titled Shinsei Shinsei ("New Life, New Star").
This volume offers five innovative tales written by Chris Dows, Joshua Ortega, Mike W. Barr, Jim Alexander, and Rob Tokar, with artwork by Makato Nakatsuka, Gregory Giovanni Johnson, Jeong Mo Yang, Michael J. Shelfer, and EJ Su.
