描述
Halvor Skramstad is just thirteen when he finds himself on a harrowing journey aboard a lifeboat after the ill-fated M/S Tomar sets sail from Tønsberg. The starkness of survival emerges as Halvor navigates not only the vast, pressing ocean but also the emotional turbulence of being thrust into the role of a young survivor amidst chaos and uncertainty.
As the narrative unfolds, Halvor's spirit is tested, revealing the resilience of youth in the face of despair. Through moments of fear, camaraderie, and confrontation with the elements, he learns critical lessons about humanity, courage, and self-discovery that will shape the course of his life forever.
