A Spur Award–winning Author Sodbusters are about equal to farm animals in Wyoming’s ranching community in the 1870’s. Teenagers Zach and Carrie Bennett, determined to escape the scorn, set out for Texas on foot. Babes on the prairie, they are ignorant of the geography and danger. Their incredible journey shows them human nature at its most base, and reveals their own capacity for violence. But they also discover the other side of humanity.
