描述

In a compelling narrative, Jaxson Kidman delves into the complexities of love, loss, and the search for identity. Through the eyes of his characters, readers are drawn into a world filled with emotional turmoil, where each decision weighs heavily on the heart. The stakes are high, and the choices made will resonate long after the final page.

As the story unfolds, the characters navigate their relationships, grappling with the ghosts of their past while striving for a brighter future. Kidman's masterful storytelling weaves a tapestry of human emotions, inviting readers to reflect on their own experiences and the essence of what it means to be truly alive.

I felt it was a little slow at first, with not knowing what was going on and wanting to know what had happened. But we got to learn bits and pieces over time before it all came crashing down. This book is exceptionally written and put me on a rollercoaster of emotions. I would be laughing one moment, worried about the characters the next, to be outright bawling. I want to root for Brice. They have so much history together. But I want to root for Ben. He loves her, he really does. I’m a mix of looking forward to and dreading what comes in book 2.
