Review 🌟🌟🌟🌟I really enjoyed this first read by Devney Perry. Lucy comes to town to hide from a scandal that has happened in her life back home and as a country singer is trying to get out of the limelight. Cue Duke, the town sheriff comes to the rescue and continues to save the day! Meeting on a hike and the chemistry was instantly there between the two. A lot of twists and turns and a very suspenseful ending I thoroughly enjoyed this first book in the series. Only thing I would say is maybe the suspense is a little lacking. The story could have been drawn out a little. The end did feel a little rushed. This will not put me off reading the rest of fhe series. #book #Bookrecs ##booklover #bookstagrammer
