描述
In the heart of World War II, Lale Sokolov finds himself thrust into the bleak reality of Auschwitz, where survival becomes a daily struggle. Separated from his family and stripped of his identity, he is assigned a role as a tattooist, tasked with inscribing numbers onto the arms of fellow prisoners. This grim job requires a delicate balance between maintaining his own humanity and navigating the treacherous landscape of life in a death camp. Through Lale's hands, stories of despair and resilience emerge, revealing the countless lives intertwined in this harrowing environment.
Amidst the chaos and horror, Lale encounters Gita Furman, a fellow prisoner whose spirit ignites a flicker of hope within him. Their bond grows slowly, blossoming into a profound love that transcends the brutality surrounding them. As they navigate the challenges and uncertainties that come with their circumstances, the strength of their connection becomes a testament to the enduring power of love, even in the darkest of times.

EmotionalI was expecting a grim story of human suffering which in part it was, but also positives of the human spirit and desire to keep going showed in the story. An emotional rollercoaster off a book. Brilliant.
The tattoist of auschwitz is literally someone's life turned into fiction and i hate to rate it but it was 2 stars and i feel like an a*s saying this kill me please
