Answer the Call: Wit, Wisdom and the Wild Turkey

“I hit the call again and this time I was certain. The sound was distant but carried just enough volume to sift through pine branches and bird songs and confirm that I had just heard my first gobbler in the wild! I can't adequately describe the feeling that came over me on that clear, cool spring morning. Suffice it to say I was hooked solid and the thrill has only grown after all these years.” Come share the passion of Outdoorsman Geoff Burden as he journeys through the swamps, fields and pine plantations of his South Carolina Lowcountry in his quest for one of North America's most coveted and elusive wild game animals--the eastern subspecies of the Wild Turkey. Experience the joy of this annual springtime ritual and the roller coaster of emotions as each story unfolds to reveal something of the heart and character of our Creator.
