Bad Boy

It is 1972 in Newcastle when eighteen year old Sarah meets and falls heavily in love with handsome young Jacko; he tells he's a sailor on leave. They embark on a passionate affair but things quickly go wrong. Sarah's mother dies, she's about to be made homeless, is pregnant and Jacko has completely disappeared. Then, unexpectedly, a letter arrives from he is in Durham Prison on remand for robbery. She visits, he swears he is innocent, and unexpectedly gets bail. They marry. But when the Court date comes, he is sentenced to four years. Sarah faces things as they are and will wait for him. Both believe the vows he makes that he will go straight. Things are working out for Sarah, Jacko and their little daughter when his old mate, Kenny Bell, comes back into Jacko's life. A cross roads has been reached. Will Jacko go in with Kenny? If he does, will Sarah stand by him? And what if the job goes wrong?
