描述
James White's novels and stories of "Sector General," the vast outer-space hospital that treats humans and aliens alike, have entertained generations of SF fans. Replete with human-and-alien interaction and intricate puzzle plots, the "Sector General" tales are ingenious and exciting, and shot through with a healer's anger at irrationality and destructiveness. They are dramas of rationality, tempered with humor and a keen eye for the remarkable in the everyday. This omnibus includes the titles "Hospital Station, Star Surgeon," and "Major Operation," along with a new introduction by Brian Stableford.
