描述
This is not a fairy tale. This is about real witches.
Grandmamma loves to tell about witches. Real witches are the most dangerous of all living creatures on earth. There's nothing they hate so much as children, and they work all kinds of terrifying spells to get rid of them. Her grandson listens closely to Grandmamma's stories—but nothing can prepare him for the day he comes face-to-face with The Grand High Witch herself!

The witches is such an amazing story. I have said it before and I will say it again, Roald Dahl has such a unique way of writing and you just can't compare any other author to his style. The descriptions in this book really do paint a picture in your mind. The way the Witches act and the way the children respond. It's full of suspense and mystery. Still to this very day I can remember said descriptions that build up the whole book. Such a great read.
