描述
Through gripping twists and raw emotion, Famine’s tale weaves a story of survival, resilience, and the complexities of fear. This isn’t just about hunger; it’s about the hunger for connection, understanding, and solidarity in the face of overwhelming odds. With vivid imagery and compelling characters, the narrative delves deep into the hearts and minds of those left standing.
From the shadows of despair rises a narrative rich with tension and urgency, forcing characters—and readers alike—to ponder the value of hope in a world turned upside down. Famine becomes more than an event; it evolves into a character of its own, challenging everything they thought they knew about life, love, and the lengths one will go to survive.

This book was everything I wanted the first couple books to be and then some (and I liked them too, but had trouble getting past some hang ups). This is a true slow burn enemies to lovers. Best of the series, starting the final book immediatly.
Same as previous books in this series it reads well and easily honestly. To be fair, it was my least favourite out of all. I kinda liked the dynamic between Famine and Ana, how they met for the first time and then again. It was interesting. Can't say I liked Famine much, Ana was a different story though. She didn't hesitate to talk back. It also felt a bit like the first book. The ending though? That I enjoyed a lot and looking forward to the final book.
