Garth Ennis (PREACHER) brings his addictive storytelling and twisted sense of humor to the DC Universe. Illustrated by John McCrea ( LEGENDS OF THE DARK KNIGHT, THE DEMON), HITMAN follows the strange adventures of Tommy Monaghan, a metahuman assassin-for-hire who specializes in killing other metahumans. Issue #1 begins a 3-part story in which Hitman is hired to break into Arkham Asylum and execute the Joker, bringing him to the unwelcome attention of Gotham City's Dark Knight and two lords of hell who want Hitman to become their mortal agent on Earth.
