I am absolutely loving this Track series!! Jason Reynolds is such a great author. I love that all of the characters have a unique background. I loved the storytelling and narration in Ghost and I wasn't sure how Reynolds was going to write this one to sound truly like a different character but he certainly did. Patina is such a strong, loving, observant character. All that has occurred in her life hasn't broken her but made her so much more determined and strong. The relationships she has with her younger sister and her family is absolutely beautiful. And I love the characters from her school. Truly describes the idea that you can't judge a book by its cover. She should be proud of who she is and what makes her Patina (since she ain't no junk)! I was a little disappointed in the ending but I have a feeling that since this is a series, it may pick up in the next book!! Highly recommend (and highly recommend reading in order).
