On his wedding anniversary Jason Polk leaves his wife home alone… again while he pursues a story that he believes will propel him to a career as a big time investigative reporter. Outside his hometown, BalderTech has built a compound that seems to have no purpose and Jason is determined to find out what they are doing. When Jason finally gets the evidence he needs, he is brutally attacked and knocked unconscious. He wakes up in his car, in a junkyard and learns that three years have gone by. Presumed dead, Jason must piece together his life while trying to find out what happened to him during those lost years. The challenge becomes greater when it appears that there are people out there that wish to make his presumed death a reality.
