There’s a reason my sister didn’t choose me to be her maid of honor.
It’s no secret that I’m the one my family expects to screw up, well, everything.
I’m too whimsical and unpredictable.
And I’ve just set fire to the one accomplishment they were actually proud of.
I’m relieved when my sister calls off her wedding and our bachelorette trip is rerouted from the beach to the mountains.
It’s exactly the reset I need before I break the news to them.

I’ve never felt more alive—or more myself—than I do when I’m stranded with Dash in the middle of the mountains.
But is it just another whimsical fantasy, or could it actually be something real?
