描述
Sky Gilbert's intimate and affirming play explores the bond he shared with his mother and the toll that alcohol and dementia took on her life. Told both in Gilbert's own voice and through that of his alter ego, Jane, The Mommiad is lyrical and tragic and true, an artist’s self-reflective endeavor to turn one woman’s life into an artistic experience.
