When the Monsoon Returns

May 1945. In the immediate aftermath of the war, Emy and Jarawal set off on a hot summer for a long journey through northern India, from Rajasthan to Goa, through Kashmir, Ladakh and Benares, to looking for Mr. Lowther, their former teacher, who seems to know the truth about these events that have bruised their childhood. In this tormented India, confronted with the violence of extremist groups, Emy and Jarawal will discover and love each other passionately, despite their cultural and social differences.
