Description

Feyre's journey takes a darker turn as she finds herself entrenched in the shadows of war. Having distanced herself from the Night Court and her High Lord, she navigates treacherous waters filled with deception and looming threats. Armed with a fierce determination for vengeance, she must gather her strength and rally allies against a formidable enemy that endangers everything she holds dear.

As allegiances are tested and secrets unravel, Feyre grapples with her own identity and the sacrifices required for victory. Her path is fraught with peril, yet her unwavering spirit ignites hope among those who fight by her side. In a world where loyalty is fragile and betrayal is ever-present, she must confront both external foes and the echoes of her past in order to reclaim her place and forge a future marked by empowerment and resilience. Each choice becomes a pivotal moment that could either lead to salvation or destruction.

Fantastic. This is the way battle scenes should be written. Is it because Maas is American and thinks bigger? It is a damm sight better than C.S Lewis or Tolkin. Also having no elves, gnomes, dragons and dwarfs is great. Done to death that particular trope. There is more of the sisters and a couple of surprises along the way. Best scene: when Feyre gathers EVERYONE at her family home and tells them her complete story. All of it. (I get the impression some of them look to Tamlin with a we-want-a-serious-discussion stare.) How HULU are going to film all this book baffles me.

I'm not going to even lie to you. I literally cried my eyes out during the war scene towards the end of the war. I literally cried. I was like dude. why am I crying over this? I was so distraught and like the worst part is that I knew that everything was okay but I literally had to close the book and go on tiktok and just distract myself for like a good. I think I was away from the book for 15 minutes and then I picked the book up and I was like bro I could have just kept coming. it was literally the nexts paragraph and everything was fine. like I literally cried, got upset closed. the book walked away and all I had to do is just keep reading. but either way, I'm this book is probably my favorite out of the whole series. so far I'm like better than the first and the second.
