Omg these books are sm fun, I was giggling and kicking my legs the whole way through, kais confession had me in tears and the ending ???!!! Excuse me Anticipating the next book
5 + RUINED. I AM UTTERLY RUINED AFTER READING THAT. This book is amazing. I have no words, so let's start from the start. I knew this book was gonna be 5 stars the moment I read the first 10 chapters, and that point just solidified every time Kia spoke. This man can just breathe, and I would be lost. I never thought anything could beat powerless until I read Reckless. Now on to the next thing, the ending. What the heck was that months of waiting just for me to read it in a few hours and finish on that. THAT. Lauren, what is that why??? I can't wait what so ever. I am in book hangover. Can't read anything else and that ending. Like what am I supposed to do now.Now, moving on to the angst. Oh my, the tension was boiling, the banter was bantering, and tropes were trooping. Every page had me squealing and giggling and kicking my feet. Every dialogue made me catch my breath. No amount of teasers could have prepared me for the real thing. The way Lauren Roberts use words and especially when it is Kia saying them has me panting for breath. Honestly, reading this book felt like a workout. My stomach was quivering so much every time Kia or Paeyden even breathed.Now the plot. Some people say it has no plot. Honestly, I am someone who reads to just get immersed in the world of the characters. Did that happen absolutely. I was transported into the book without effort. Also, I think what I loved is how character heavy it was. I love Pae, and I love Kia and the fact that the book focused on them yet still giving us literally everything and more is just amazing.Finally, I have to mention the reckless fanart. Oh may, if you thought Kia and Paeyden were good-looking in the first book, wait till you see the fanart of the second book. Kia in a bandana is the best thing I have seen. I have never even written such a long review, which just goes to show how much i love this book.
Marriage!? Are you actually kidding me, we did not spend the whole book making kai and pae fall in love again just for his brother to ruin it! 4.5 stars!
