Love arranged is the third and final book in the Lakefront billionaires series by Lauren Asher.

For me, it was a lighthearted, wholesome, domestic read, similar to love unwritten, and i loved every single second of it.

MMC : Lorenzo vittori — our man is suffering from ocd, and obsesses over food, safety, and a certain woman he can’t stop wanting. Everyone is convinced that he’s in the mafia, hell bent on destroying them, meanwhile man is just plotting his revenge and falling in love and having to adjust his plans.

FMC : lily/ liliana muñoz — lily is the cheerful, bright, optimistic girl, the people’s princess who is absolutely genius when it comes to her family and Lorenzo. She is loving and caring like Ellie, i was reminded of them, and the little crumbs from Ellie and rafa’s book ?

Their story is a soft fake dating romance, set in a small town, which turns into so much than what was originally planned.

side characters : Ellie, rafael, julian, dahlia, everyone is soo sweet, and manny how can we forget him? Man repaired lily’s car while giving Lorenzo the side eye 👀 something was definitely brewing, manny was right.

Little daisy is the cutest dog ever! I loved everytime she was mentioned.

Story setting : small town called lake wisteria.

Summary : Lorenzo is preparing for his political election, running for a mayor, in a small town Lake wisteria, while on the other hand, lily needs someone to help her save her shop, so she can continue keeping her father’s memories alive and also because she loves her flower shop. Who better to ask than the enemy of her enemy — Lorenzo vittori to fake date her and make his position stronger since she is the people’s princess. And in the process they fall for each other, and Lorenzo’s plans to run for the mayor are because of his parent’s death by a certain someone, but he ends up doing more because he loves lily more than anything.

What i loved : i loved lily and Lorenzo, he’s just a baby to me. He is obsessive, but not because of what you think, it is because of his OCD. He double - checks everything and make sure it is alright. Safety? Check. Food? Check. Stalking lily? Check. This man does everything to make up for the hurt he caused her by pushing her away because he thought obsessing over her is not what she wants, turns out she wanted to be loved and chosen by him, without him pushing him away.

🌸 Goes to therapy so he can be vulnerable and not let his past keep him from the present.

🩷 Buys lily all her dresses in neutral pink, and matching shoes.

🩷 Buys her the most beautiful diamond pink ring for their engagement.

🩷 Is not a billionaire but has enough money from selling his assets, and spends most of it on lily, like he should.
🩷 Makes amends, or spends more time with her mother, sister and others who love lily.

🩷 Reluctantly gives his car away to manny for a day, even though his control tendencies panic, but he survives on lily’s love, so that’s okay.

🩷 Helps save lily’s shop and gains more than he asked for.

🩷 Repairs lily’s garden made by her father, by all the flowers, and fountain, and also gives her coins to make new wishes whenever she wants.

Fav parts / highlights : A door parallel to the teacher’s desk I’m sitting at dreams open, and Lily walks inside the classroom, looking like the future mayor’s wife in the periwinkle dress she bought with my credit card. I never thought i’d enjoy buying something more than cars, but seeing Lily decked out in the clothes and jewelry I have bought has me changing my mind. There is something incredibly satisfying about being able to provide for her, and screw julian for insinuating that I couldn’t.

Last details : i always wondered what the fountain on the cover meant, and i understand it now, it was lily’s beloved fountain made by her father in their garden.
