Love and lust meant expired visas, and Ashley was soon an illegal worker, taking on anything and everything in order to stay put in the Holy Land.
Despite the best attempts of a legendary Jewish mother, love almost conquered all, before reality hit. A broken heart led to Ashley marrying and divorcing another… and then marrying yet another local girl to join suburbia and the hi-tech revolution…
This story has love and lust, scud missiles, illegal workers, legendary Jewish mothers, broken hearts, circumcisions (!), and yes, plenty of beer and beaches! A great little read for those of you interested in travelling, Israel, or just being entertained for a few hours.
