-> 3.5 StarsAfter such a stellar first book, I had high hopes for this and was a bit let down.I loved so much about Godkiller, but Sunbringer felt a lot like it had second book syndrome. The first 60% of the book didn't really go anywhere. We spend all of the book up till the last chapter waiting for the characters to join back up, which would be okay but the found family trope of Godkiller was so good that I feel cheated. I did like the character arcs for everyone but this definitely felt like a character driven filler book. I am hoping that book 3 brings it all back around.-> 3.5 Stars
