In this captivating story, layers of mystery unfold within the walls of a house that seems alive with history. Strange occurrences hint at pasts long buried, as whispers of secrets and the echoes of lost souls fill the air. Each room tells a tale, revealing the lives of those who once called it home, user their joys, heartaches, and regrets.

The narrative flows between the tangible and the ethereal, where visitors encounter not just physical spaces but also the intangible memories that linger within them. Haunting yet beautiful, the prose evokes a sense of the uncanny while exploring profound themes of love, loss, and the passage of time.

As the characters navigate their own relationships with the house, they also confront their buried emotions, forging connections that transcend the boundaries of life and death. This enchanting tale invites readers to reflect on what it means to truly belong and the stories we carry with us, seeking solace in the echoes of those who haunt our memories.

Generi

An absolute powerhouse of a novella. Generational trauma, class warfare, and feminine rage come together to haunt not only the house, but the village and its people. Fucking beautiful.Really wish I could read this one in the original Spanish, as I bet it hits even harder, but the translation here was gorgeous and lyrical and bleak. A very easy 5 stars.
