Como segunda parte, se me ha hecho todo un poco pesado y lento. Es cierto que ahora la historia se amplia un poco para conocer al resto de personajes, pero el worldbuilding me sigue sabiendo a poco.Las escenas +18 me parecen un tanto... surrealistas. Algunas se alargan demasiado y me resultaron demasiado incómodas.Me causó cansancio constante la protagonista porque habla con acertijos todo el tiempo y hasta el final no entiendes cuál es su plan (esto me ha gustado mucho, por cierto).Respecto al tema amoroso, lo añadido aquí se me hace entre raro y absurdo. Todo es demasiado "conveniente" para la protagonista, que es por supuesto la más guapa que tiene a todos comiendo de su mano *ojos en blanco.
I loved the first one so I was so, so excited for this book. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. Caly was whiny and annoying. Her toing and froing between the two MMCs was messy and frustrating. Mendax started talking like Shakespeare and made me cringe so hard I could hardly take him seriously.The plot twist did get me. I was like "there's no way! She's done it again!" But overall I'm disappointed, with the cheapness of the characters, writing that reads like a first draft, and boring POVs of characters we don't care for. 2.75
