If you liked Fourth Wing, you might like this book. Or you might hate it. 😂 It definitely feels a bit "Fourth Wing but with Dire Wolves" but really it does have it's own premise entirely beyond feeling a bit like that. I didn't feel nearly as strongly connected to the characters as I think i did to the Fourth Winh characters within one book, but it's hard to remember for certain. The FMC does several things that make it hard to feel as connected to her, and so do both male MMC. Regardless. I'm eager to start book 2.
🐺 Dire Bound by Sable Sorensen had me hoping to be completely enchanted... but sadly, it never quite cast its spell on me. ✨I'm not gonna lie. This book didn't grab me. 😕 Did I like it? Yes, sort of. Does it have me reaching for book 2 straight away? Absolutely not.I'm torn because I really want to love this book, but I just don't. For me, it mostly didn't feel like a fantasy, and I really had to force myself to read most of the time. 📖Did I expect everything? Absolutely not. There were definitely things that surprised me. But it also never had me screaming, gasping, or desperately needing to know what happened next. 😭I'm just a bit disappointed because this had so much potential for me, and I wanted to connect with it more than I actually did.⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 3.5 stars ✨⭐️⭐️⭐️
Very generic fantasy story, you literally know all the plot twists because the most popular series end like this. Still fun to rread.
