描述

The year is 2041. One ordinary man is sent back in time in order to thwart the attacks on the World Trade Towers. This mission could change the future world forever.

Neil Anderson blends 9/11 with science fiction in this ‘Planet of the Apes’ meets ‘Back to the Future’ style short story.

The date is September 11th, 2001, and the time is just hours before the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Towers. In 2001, everything is the same as it was for the parallel world, except for one crucial difference. In 2001, there is a strange place that exists, which does not exist anywhere else – the high chambers. Everything that happens inside the high chambers obeys its own it is a place where time seems to play strange games and do strange things. It is somewhere inside the high chambers that Spire resides, and he, and only he, controls the fate of everything that will happen in both worlds. He controls the fate of 9/11.

One decision could alter everything, for all time and for everyone, but only one man can convince Spire to make the right decision and synchronise the two worlds forever.

Can the ordinary man from the future locate Spire in the high chambers? Can he carry out his mission and stop the attacks on the World Trade Towers?
