I have to be honest. I didn't really care for this book. If I had not loved the first two books or really liked Adrien's character, I probably wouldn't read the rest of the stories. But to be fair, I don't really like occult stuff, and so that was something I know I wouldn't enjoy coming into this book. But the other problem was that the mystery was really hard for me to follow. There were a lot of people and things to keep track of, and I was just lost the whole time. Now the whole thing with Jake was so upsetting, I mean I wasnt holding out hope for a happy end and Adrien deserves better, but its also clear that Jake is struggling between what makes him happy and what he thinks should make him happy. I am still excited to see where the story goes and start the next book.
