I did not like this book at all I don't understand the hype about it, It's annoying it left me with bad feelings and uncomfortable emotions.The plot twist of it is very clear and easy to suspect I knew the plot twist from the first couple of chapters and I didn't enjoy myself The end is the worst is so so so unrealistic and silly like a five years old though about it, it's more like cartoon where at the end no matter what happens every one has to be happy, it is bad honestly The writing is easy I am not English native speaker but I fully and easily understand everything I won't recommend at all
Eu gostei pra cacete, acho que gostei ainda mais que o primeiro. Nao tem muito o que falar, é simplesmente bom. Não tem erro. Pretendo ler todos os livros da Freida porque a escrita dela é simplesmente viciante.

It was a captivating read that I finished in about 2–3 sittings (life did get in the way, but still!).The book opens with a thrilling prologue packed with mystery, suspense, and an underlying sense of dread. It instantly set the mood and pulled me into the story. As the plot progressed, seeing familiar characters again and following Millie’s journey made it even more exciting.It follows a similar pattern to the first book: a new house-sitting job, mysterious owners, unsettling vibes, and a steadily building suspense. Midway through, I was trying to decode what was happening and figure out the real villain. Honestly, I thought I knew where it was heading—it felt a bit predictable, but still kept me hooked.The second half was action-packed and intense, with a lot of twists and turns coming one after another. There were many satisfying moments toward the end; the conclusion felt a little rushed—but undeniably thrilling.As for Millie, she was frustrating in this book, especially in the way she treated Brock. He didn’t deserve how she used him or pushed him around.Also, Mr. Douglas 🫡𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒄𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 (𝑻𝑳;𝑫𝑹)Overall, this is a fast-paced psychological thriller with a gripping start and an eventful, action-packed second half. With plenty of twists and satisfying moments, I found it a bit predictable and the ending somewhat rushed. The main character’s actions were questionable, though the suspenseful plot kept it engaging and enjoyable.
The plot twists weren't as shocking as it was in the first book because I did predict most of it from before but it is still a very good book
