Apalagi pas baca soal logoterapi, bener² ngantuk pol.

Tapi karena ada teori yg bisa dipraktekkan jadi ini buku yg bagus buat buat sebagian orang.

This is simply the best book I have read in 2021: Simple, honest, brilliant, positive, hopeful, realistic, incredible! Man's Search for Meaning is divided into two parts: the first is an autobiographical account of the author's own experiences in Auschwitz concentration camp; the second is an introduction and overview of his own theory, namely logotherapy. Unlike any other account of concentration camps (with which I am acquainted) Frankl writes about his suffering and that of his comrades in a unique tone. He does not appeal to pathos within the reader, he does not write to make people pity him, but rather compels them to admire the brilliant machinery of his mind, and the refined will to meaning that had kept him alive, and helped him along the way. The second part is even more compelling since it supplies more information and details about logotherapy, and clarifies its essential traits at least. It would be unfair to put here any kind of notes about this part because it is simply brilliant, and it needs to be read in its original form. Although Frankl is a neurologist who had founded his own theory of psychotherapeutic analysis, he is very easy to read, and his vocabulary is, therefore, accessible even to the layman. For such reasons, this book is the ultimate self-help book which I suggest to everyone. Just read it!

I absolutely enjoyed this book and the insight that Frankl shares regarding what he has learned through the time spent in the concentration camps. While it is not what I had originally expected it was still captivating. I would recommend this to individuals who are perhaps looking for a reason to carry out their day. Perhaps you'll find the meaning which you are missing.
