*Gifted in exchange for an honest Review*I give this book 3.5 stars, this mainly due to the book not really giving much in the way of the story, it seemed to drag for me, but unfortunately I didn't receive the other two books from the tour host and they did not reply to my email, I in normal situations I would have just bought them but unfortunately I do not have the funds,so I took the chance to read it having missed part of the story. This series really intrigued me and that's why I bought book 1 (which I gave a 4 star review)I am keeping this review brief as reading a book when you have missed 2 installments will colour the outcome of reading this book. ALTHOUGH I had no problem with it really I found that the story just seemed to be going nowhere for a long time.Jethro Hawk, Jet is living up to his Uber Cold Anti-hero mould, the product of his environment and I learn't more of how he was groomed to take over the family empire, all traces of goodness have been ruthlessly cut from this whole family on their quest for domination over the world, and the Weavers. Now in this series we are given a reason for Jethro's behaviour and if you Google it you will in fact find out that Ms Winters did actually research this condition, and did not just make up something. I got frustrated at times in the beginning to why he had to take those 'Little White Pills' but then after the reason is revealed I could see why he wanted to escape feeling.Nila aka Threads was safe back home in London, at the beginning of the book and she should have been happy, but with most 'Stockholm Sufferers' she is she a mess, in love with Jethro, she desperately wants to go back and save him from his crazy father and the 'Brotherhood' so she starts sexting Kite (yeah I didnt need to read the other 2 books to work out Kite was Jet! I guessed that half way through book 1!!) Nila comes across as being very needy and simpering sometimes, but then she would grow a backbone and I would think - yeah get a grip girl, FIND OUT MORE - do not accept being kept in the dark.I did think now she has earned the right to know more, the past would have been given up in more detail, we do find out eventually what actual act caused this Debt to incur - and I sorry but thats one of the reasons it got a 3.5, I was like is that all (sorry but come on - it would have been quite the norm back in the days where servants were chattel, possessions - to be used by their masters as seen fit.)So as I said some parts dragged for me... and in the end I just wanted the 'Third Debt' to be revealed. and I am sorry but come on! Did Jet really think that would work!!!!!!!!At the very end I was shouting at the pair - how could they be so dumb! What are you doing??? RUN, or I don't know - check everything is set and you are ready for the shit storm that may or may not happen??? BUT to just ... have sex and fall asleep PLULEESE!Then Ms Winter's gave us the Cliffhanger of the Nth degree!!there are 2 more books in this series, and I wonder how it will end after finishing this book.I think I need a nice PNR to get my mind straight after being in Ms Winters imagination.Be warned... you are either going to be gagging for book 5 or frustrated as hell ;)
