She has been through so much while in captivity. You get an understanding for some of the choices she made while he held her captive.I have so much respect for the fact that she has written this book about her experiences the way she remembers them and thereby takes back her story from the media’s way of telling the story.I am not a fan of the way the first part is written. I found it hard to follow where we were at times. This was only in the part about her early life where she was jumping around in time. In the rest of the book I did not have this problem.
