I don't really care for Lupin or Black, but the storyline is incredibly interesting
Incredibly interesting. I was completely immersed and couldn't put the book down. Only a few terms were unclear but searching it afterwards made it clear. The book is way more deep and thoroughly explained compared to the movies. There were some funny moments, heart warming moments (the end especially) and moments that made me place the book down in frustration (when Peter escaped). Overall a fantastic read, can't wait to read the rest of the series.
4.5 starsI solemnly swear that I am up to no good. This is such an upopular opinion, but I was never a really huge fan of the third book. It's not underwhelming, but it was never my favourite out of all the 7 books. I did however really enjoyed Jim Kay's illustrations. It really does inspire me a lot.
It might be my favorite book yet, we'll see to come. Dumbledore for the saving grace, I couldn't get more attached to professor Lupin and Sirius Black(?)I'll miss u surely professor!

I'm loving this series so much!
It is my second time reading Harry Potter series. Actually, I am listening to the audiobook, but that's the same thing, isn't it? My first time was more than a decade ago. I am glad to say that I still like Harry Potter as a book series . I was afraid I would not like them second time around, that is why I have been postponing rereading this series. sometimes, revisiting old favorites just ruin good old memories! If you know what I mean!! However, I think I don't like the movies as much anymore. I have never been big fan of them anyway. As far as I am concerned, movies must be loyal to the books they are based on. However, Harry Potter movies infuriate me. The amount of omissions and alternations is so annoying to me.Something new that didn't occure to me the first time is the fact that I found Quiditch flawed, and not that well designed. It seems to me that the only player that mattered in this game is the seeker, since catching the snitch worths 150 points. It seems to me that as I grew older, I also grew more critical, I never questioned Quidditch before. Another thing is that at times I found Harry Potter unpolite, I didn't notice it before, either. Having said that, these things didn't take the enjoyment of reading such a brilliant book. What I found interesting in this book is the appearance of Cho Chang and Cedric Diggory. I had no idea there were in this volume.
This was probably my favorite so far! I loved the humor and the strength of friendship throughout the story. The plot twist was so good and so sweet! The ending was hilarious and I can not wait to get to the next one!!!
[Spoiler Free Review]Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite book and movie in the series! It's the beginning of something darker and interesting. Sirius Black will forever be my favourite character in the Harry Potter series and I think it's insane how we haven't gotten any official Marauders content yet! Crossing my fingers that the TV Show will give us something not yet seen!
The addition of the characters Lupin and Black elevated to 5 stars. This is genius world building, adding to the already splendid world with more stories and magic. It feels fresh, like a completely new story.
I think this is the first time a very long time with rereading this book that I finally for once actually understand the dynamic between how James and Lily Potter ended up dying. As well as the dynamic between a lupine and black and Snape and James and Peter and Lily in the whole group of friends and exactly how they got to this point. I remember as a child watching this movie and I was beyond confused but the same time even though I was beyond confused I still love the movie so I ended up just finishing it and pretending like I understood what happened. And then I were getting the books and reading the books and I still didn't understand it but now rereading it as an adult at the age of 23 here I am finally rereading it for the third time and I'm finally actually understanding it. Also me not understanding it has nothing to do with JK Rowling or the writing style it's just simply I am very much stupid and have a hard time understanding s*** sometimes.
Loved everything in this book. The book kept me on my toes. Hermione was my favorite character.
