I found this standard mystery novel to be somewhat underwhelming. While Poirot always entertains me, thanks to Agatha Christie, this particular story didn't stand out. I didn't dislike it, but it also didn't leave a lasting impression; it was simply dull.As Poirot observed, things were not as they seemed. The person without a motive turned out to be the culprit, and the individual who wasn't supposed to be dead actually died. The Cloades experienced a most remarkable couple of weeks.
