Woah....so much happened in this book I could not even comprehend what I was feeling. I loved every single page of this book, it made me feel sad, mad, happy, confused and so many other emotions! I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can not wait to read the last one!!!
I don't know how I'd be able to give this book a ratingless than 5 stars! Once again, I'm extremely impressed with CassandraClare's story. I loved the twists in the plot throughout this bookand had a hard time putting it down! Thanks for the great read!

Valutazione: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/5.Città delle anime perdute ha ufficialmente sancito il mio profondo affetto per Shadowhunters, in particolare per la saga di The Mortal Instruments, sia prima che seconda trilogia. Con loro, Clary, Jace e tutti gli altri mi sento ormai a casa, in famiglia. Questo quinto libro è stato davvero pieno di emozioni che non saprei nemmeno spiegare. È successo di tutto e ho davvero amato l’antagonista che è Sebastian/Jonathan. I miei personaggi preferiti si sono riconfermati a mani bassissime Jace, che la Clare mi fa soffrire tantissimo in ogni libro, e Simon. Non posso credere che il prossimo libro sarà l’ultimo e che poi mi toccherà lasciare la squad.
The fifth book in the Mortal Instruments saga proved to be slow reading, to say the least. That book was too big, for a story that had nothing to present when compared to previous books. There were a lot of POVs (which I like), but there were a few that were a little unnecessary (like Maia and Jordan's love story). This talk about Jace being always weird with Clary has started to get boring since City of Fallen Angels, and this one was even worse. The part that had him and Clary were the most boring in the book. The best plot was Simon, the Lightwood brothers and Magnus. This is a series and I don't think it was necessary to have six books. This 5 was practically useless, as half of it could have been cut, the parts that mattered could have been placed in the fourth or last book. Anyway, at least the ending made me curious, and the author's writing is extremely fluid, even for a stationary book. I want to see the outcome of this story.
A pesar de que tiene todos los elementos que me gustan (sobrenatural, tensión, batalla épica...) se me ha hecho muy denso y de desarrollo lento en su mayoría, hasta el final del libro que es cuando se produce la batalla. Como siempre, la evolución de Simon me encanta, y la historia está bien, es como la calma antes de la tormenta.
I totally did not cry at a certain part associated with Jace. No way.
