The first book of Mists of Avalon introduces us to King Arthur's world of war, passion and magic. A perfect introduction, for a perfect story. Narrated by strong women, Senhora da Magia shows us a little of the life of the Priestesses of Avalon and also of the life in medieval castles in the region of Brittany. A book that has as its strong point the complexity of the characters and many dilemmas that are still discussed today. Sexuality, religion, sexism and the question "how far can your actions be justified as being the work of destiny?" Morgana, Igraine and Vivienne won my heart from the first pages and made me understand that not everything is what it seems. Extremely necessary reading. Avalon Mists is, without a doubt, my favorite saga and Senhora da Magica my favorite book of the saga.
