I don't know what I was expecting from it, but it was certainly more than what I got.Maybe I read it too fast? Maybe it's just the mood I'm in overall? Maybe I have no experience with this disease? Maybe I'm just a heartless monster? I don't know. This novella did nothing for me, I'm just glad it was really short. It may be harsh, but it just felt like a whole bunch of *very very inspiring, amazingly written* quotes about life, love, loss *the writing is impeccable and I need to read more from Fredrik Backman*, but the story was too short for me to feel anything and, at the same time, too long and confusing, because I was very bored.I'M SORRY, OK?
upon reread this is a 3.75 and i am very sad that i didn't cry. doesn't mean i'm not constantly thinking about my lost grandparents tho-"It’s an awful thing to miss someone who’s still here.”
